Job description

  • Attaching the claim documents to proper policy
  • Lodging the invoice details accurately
  • Taking ownership of the claim for assessing under “ ready for assessment’ status
  • Assessing of claims which includes: * Reviewing all pertinent documents including but not limited to the vet history as well as previous claims * Analysing relevant information to come up with the correct diagnosis * Identifying applicable treatments and/or procedures to the condition being claimed for. * Verifying system-calculated benefits to ensure accurate payout to customers * Authorising claim within your designated authority limit * Composing notes on ‘not admitted’ claims, including treatments and/or procedures not covered
  • Processing ‘Initial Status’ and “Ready for Assessment” claims in your respective assessing queue
  • Exercising due diligence in requiring additional documents from customers
  • Classifying express post transactions to its proper category and processing such cases accordingly
  • Classifying histories and invoices tasks to its proper category and processing such cases
  • Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technology and related course
  • Applicants who have completed at least 4 years in Veterinary Medicine may be considered
  • Licensed Veterinarians preferred but not required
  • Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance Services environment is desirable
  • Knowledgeable with small animal medicine (dogs and cats)
  • With good communication skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in basic computer applications
